TikTok Integration

VigilynMagixWeb uses supported TikTok developer products to provide creator-related functionality to Discord communities. TikTok access occurs only after explicit authorization by the TikTok user.

How the integration works

1. A server administrator opens Creator Alerts in the VigilynMagixWeb management interface.
2. The user chooses the supported TikTok connection feature.
3. The user is sent to TikTok's official authorization experience.
4. TikTok displays the permissions requested by VigilynMagixWeb.
5. After the user grants permission, TikTok returns the authorization result to the registered HTTPS callback on the VigilynMagixWeb domain.
6. VigilynMagixWeb uses the approved account information for the requested creator-alert functionality.

Information used

Depending on the TikTok products and permissions approved for the application, the integration may use basic TikTok profile information and supported public creator or video metadata.

VigilynMagixWeb does not request a user's TikTok password. Authentication is performed by TikTok.

User control

Users control whether their TikTok account is connected. Supported connections may be disconnected when they are no longer required.

Purpose

TikTok information is used to support creator identification and creator notifications within configured Discord communities. It is not sold to advertisers.
